I have a tea kettle and it has rust inside. I used CLR and it helped some, but there is still a reasonable amount in there. I have no problem buying a new one, but if I do, how do i keep it from rusting inside? Its there one material better than another? (copper, stainless steel, porceline etc)
I was looking at different teapots and things online and I came across a picture of something that looked like a tea kettle and a teapot mixed together. It looked like you would boil the water in it like you would with a tea kettle, but then add loose tea afterwards like a teapot. Do they make such a thing or did my eyes deceive me?
I just got a new tea kettle and it’s rusting. Is it dangerous to keep using it? I thought rust was poisonous, but others seem to think it’s not such a big deal.
I accidentally forgot that I was making tea water and the top of the tea kettle melted. My mom will be home is about a hour and a half! She’ll sincerely kill me if you finds out. I need suggestions, please help!
A few weeks ago the water that i boiled started to taste funny/weird. Using a tea kettle to boil the water, i took a whiff and smelled the boiled water and it also smelled different than what i’m suppose to smell. Does anyone know why this is happening? Does it somehow have to do with the initial temperature at which i’m boiling it at(such as using hot instead of cold water from the faucet to boil the water)?
After i let the water cool down i transfer it to a container for easy access. It takes at least 3 to 5 days for the taste of the water to go back to normal(it tastes like it’s suppose to).
What am i doing wrong? Is it time for me to buy a new tea kettle?
I want to purchase a tea kettle or pot for a tea novice. They like the clay ones, and want to make tea with an infuser from leaves not the bag kind. Can someone please tell me what I need to buy to get them started. As I am sure you can tell from this post my tea knowledge is limited to ordering it at a boba place. Also can you reccomend a good place online to purchase you reccomendation. THANK YOU!!!
It isn’t the actual faucet that makes the noise, but the water, it seems. It is hard to describe. When I turn the faucet on in my bathroom, the whole sink vibrates, and this loud noise that sounds like "grinding water", a tea-kettle whistling, a trash compactor… (stay with me here…) fills the room, so loud it actually hurts my ears. Is the water pressure to strong? (I am on the 24th floor in an apartment bldg). It is really irritating. How come the water doesn’t simply flow out, without making any noise? It is so loud it wakes up my GF in the adjoining room! Anyway…did the apartment complex install cheap faucets? Water pressure too high? Thanks.
Hi There,
I sure hope someone knows a basic how to on how to clean off
the inside of my tea kettle. There’s a hard white film that occasionally
comes out when the tea kettle is poured. This stuff doesn’t want to come off the bottom of the tea kettle. How do I get it off or do I have to buy an expensive copper bottom tea kettle? Thanks for any help and hope you have a great week ahead!
